These Terms govern your use of the website australtone.com and any purchases you make through it. The site and its products are provided by Austral Tone, a brand operated by Matías Novelle, an individual based in Argentina. By using the site or buying a product, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our products
Austral Tone develops and sells audio plugins (VST3 / AU software) for music production. We may offer free and paid versions of a plugin. Sales are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record for your purchase.
2. License
When you purchase a plugin, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it — you are not buying the software itself. Each plugin is also governed by an End-User License Agreement (EULA) presented during installation, which sets out the detailed terms of your license. In case of conflict regarding the software itself, the EULA prevails.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to copy, resell, sublicense, share, or redistribute our plugins or license keys; not to reverse-engineer or circumvent the licensing; and not to use the site in any unlawful way or to disrupt its operation.
4. Intellectual property
All plugins, content, branding, and the "Austral Tone" name and trademark are owned by us and protected by law. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you.
5. Pricing and payment
Prices are shown at checkout and may change over time. Payments, taxes, and invoicing are handled by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. Completing a purchase means you accept the price shown and Lemon Squeezy's checkout terms.
6. Refunds
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Disclaimer
Our plugins and the site are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do our best to ensure they work as described, but we do not guarantee that they will be error-free or compatible with every system or host. System requirements are stated on the product page.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Austral Tone will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our plugins or the site. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product in question.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Argentina. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your own country.
